My Granny and two of her sisters were school teachers. There were 9 of them in all, 8 girls and one boy. I was talking with one of my co-workers one time, and he mentioned where he went to junior high. I knew my Granny taught there about the time he went. I asked him if he ever had her as a teacher, and he said "Hell yeah! You'da thought whipping my ass was her favorite hobby!" He said that she didn't take no shit in her classroom and I KNOW FOR A FACT she didn't take no shit at home. I marvel at the toughness of my Grandparents on both sides of my family because they grew up dirt poor and all died not oweing anybody one thin dime, with good farm land and money in the bank. Like Montgomery Gentry said.......That's a life you can hang your hat on.

she died....Her daddy had been state vet..she they traveled to Kentucky, Mississippi and Tennessee when she was younger....She was very smart...Read lots of
books. was a Bible Scholar of the first note...Taught Sunday School for 50 years....She just had her kids to raise BY HERSELF...and made out the best she
could..SHE NEVER LEARNED TO DRIVE A CAR...She was an excellent cook and a friend to all her neighbors...But the phrase..." I CAN"T DO ANYTHING WITH
