Their goal is to cement themselves in power forever in this country. They aim to totally eliminate the middle class in the country in order to have the masses
totally dependant on them for almost everything. They will soon tell you what you must set your thermostat on in your home, how much fresh water you can use,
where you will fall in the pecking order for medical procedures. Many doctors will be run out their practices for refusing to adhere to their mass socialism.
They are going after the productive people and small businesses first, raising the tax rate to the point where they will be working for the government until
the last part of May each year. You will now see many more corporations begin to escape the country while the getting is good. It's ugly, they look to
either circumvent or just ignore the Constitution of the United States. The America that we all know as children and young adults is no more!!

They won't. The fact of increasing the tax will discourage investors and encourage them to shift money out before the hike. Not only will the extra revenue vanish, but investment levels will drop, leading to job losses and less opportunity for American businesses. But, this is exactly what the Democrats want. It puts them in a position to control everything.

Obama seeks to weaken the influence of Religion... that is the real purpose to his eliminating or reducing tax deductions on charitable contributions. He wants
the poor and hungry to have only one place to find help, and that place is the government. Its just a matter of time before he starts funneling food stamps and
welfare checks through ACORN or some similar group, so they can be indoctinated to see the leftist ideal as their salvation.

getting a ticket....in his talk he mentioned that the technology existed to put GPS in every vehicle and everyone be monitored 24 hrs a day...in this scenario,
the BIG computer would just kick out a ticket and mail it to you every time you broke the speed limit. He went onto say that it would be a Total invasion of
Privacy and that we wouldn't want that......so Don't fucking whine about the car in front of you NOT getting the ticket the officer wrote you.

assuming they do either/or and not both. The per mile tax rate was roughly equal to the tax per gallon on a vehicle that was around 20 mpg. The key is if
they do both, that's just double taxing for the same service and totally bullshit.

Oregon proposes 1.2 cent
per mile tax.
Their state tax is 25 cents per gallon. Which is what you would pay if you got 20.8 mpg. This way tho theres no incentive to drive a more efficient vehicle. But I'd bet they'll put something in there to cover it.

Cigarettes will have an additional 62 cents in Federal taxes added on April 1. Obama is hurting the people that he claims to champion. The percentages will tell you that lower income people now make up a lion's share of the remaining smokers in the nation. These Marxists have no regard whatsoever for individual rights and freedom. The American Dream is dying right before our very eyes and so I pose this question, What can we do about it. We can obviously talk it to death, but other than that, what are the options? Is there any ground swells of organized resistance to socialism growing anywhere in the country?

Case 1: Large SUV driving in city pays about 2.2 cents per mile in taxes. Case 2: Hybrid driving in country pays about 0.6 cents/mile in taxes. Over 10k miles, that's a difference of $165.
