CLK got rid of the dead weight.
The only surprising thing is that he has pretty much avoided playing the race card over it. Of course, he likely will be complaining of Kiffin's 'code words' and spelling his name KKKiffin before the season rolls around... ![]() |

URV meets CheesyPoof on Logic Battlefield & Surrenders Big Time! | #4
|
I will paste the exchange below where CheesyPoof point blank challenges URV to answer pertinent questions that will either back up his outlandish crybaby
accusations OR blow them out of the water. In typical URV fashion he gets huffy and implies racism or some devious agenda when all CheesyPoof did was ask for
FACTS instead of his silly emotion. Classic behaviour of a Race Warlord who is caught in a LIE!!! I bet CheesyPoof is quaking in his boots with fear that URV
is going to "really give his opinion on CheesyPoof". CheesyPoof is about to have the "R" word thrown at him so better duck!!!
The sad thing IMO is that the majority (vast) of the American population has turned into a voting block of URV's. They get all EMOTIONAL about perceived wrongs and can look at NO facts about ANYTHING. They feel ENTITLED to EVERYTHING in life. And when they actually ARE given certain things (like a scholarship and all the perks a FB player gets for FIVE years) then it is completely blown off and is actually looked at in disdain. URV looks at EVERYTHING his son got at UT in disdain and completely blows off the FACT that someone (VASF donars, ticket buyers, merchandise buyers, TV contracts, etc) paid for FIVE years of undergrad work for his son and then at least ONE more year of Grad School at UT. So Kevin got SIX years of freebie schooling from UT and URV looks down on this and basically says "we are owed/due even more". This is exactly what we have turned into as a population- pure "takers" and the entitlement crowd. And if you dare even question these assholes or demand FACTS like Cheesy did THEN you are "evil" or "racist" or "have an agenda". Our country is fooked with these kinds of complete low IQ idiots being able to vote- Tyranny of the Majority!!!! There was no guarantee that any of them would find jobs in the past few weeks...and please note that NONE OF THEM was able to find work in the Knoxville area which would have allowed them to keep on track in grad school. They all lived up to their commitment to the school and did what they were supposed to in regard to their coaching internship. And despite being undermined by their own alma mater they all could end up doing fairly well anyway, in all likelihood. Some of them were only 3 or 4 months away from being awarded their Masters and that's the real tragedy. So, although realizing their dream has had to be put on hold I think that eventually, all of them will find a way to return to school and finish up on their post graduate degrees. I am still totally bewildered as to how any school could have sanctioned something like that against their own former players. JMO. dd4vols wrote: much more money with NFL jobs than as GA's? CheeyPoof needs to ask DAD why HE doesn't put Kevin the rest of the way through school. | #5
|
After all, he apparently didn't have to pay a lot to get him through undergrad. And, according to DAD, he's got a master's of his own so does he
not have any money he can use on Kevin? As DAD himself points out, Kevin is very close to getting his degree so how much of a sacrifice are we talking about
here? As noted previously, Kevin must qualify for in-state rates.

For all I know he might have a phD. That thread contained a long recounting of how | #7

he went through grad school by borrowing only $160 and that was an emergency loan for 90 days. It of course begged the obvious question of why he hasn't
suggested the same strategy for his own son.

Everyone on the internet has a masters, didn't you know that? It's the e-equivalent of every prisoner being innocent. They also all have 12"
peckers and sleep with supermodels, but that's another story entirely.
I really do not believe he has one, of course, since no college that I know of offers a masters program named Whitey Sucks. Maybe one of those historically black colleges offers that major or something, though; who really knows what those segregationists do in their ebony towers. ![]() |

Quite frankly, I doubt Dad1A would have ANYTHING to do with a word like "Masters"... | #15
|
...because of certain racial overtones to said word.
What a tool. What an embarrassment that he was ever associated with an athletic program that I've loved for close to 40 years...if you can call riding his son's coattails being associated. |

Couple of points | #16 | ||

One is I thought he retained one of the four, maybe Rasheed Harrelson?
The other is I agree that the comments Lane made were very crass. All he needed to say was "we decided to go in another direction" or "we decided to get some folks with out the attachments to the previous staff". There's just no need to belittle people you've let go. Lane could definitely benefit from some executive level coaching in self awareness and shit like that. After a few players are shown, Orgeron, UT offensive coordinator Jim Chaney and assistant coach David Reaves clearly aren't impressed by the talent level. "O.K., lemme back up," Orgeron says, without turning back to face the recruiting guys running the video from the back of the room. "We are at Tenn-uh-SEEEE! We wanna see TOP players." |

It's KIFFIN KIFFIN KIFFIN | #17
|
Hellfar why can't you people get this right?
Personally, I dont like the way these GA's were treated. I mean, WTF, theyre just GA's. It would have been a nice gesture by KIFFIN to let them stay on and finish out their degrees. Of course, it's not something he should be obligated to do by any means, but it wouldn't have hurt anything and it wouldn't have meant much as far as what direction he is wanting to take the program. ( I ) Have the ability to call Mike Hamilton at any time and have him return my call- just as he is about to do TODAY with this Thigpen deal and my complaint.- AtlantaVol 1/30/09 I've already told you: the only way to a woman's heart is along the path of torment. I know none other as sure.

If he felt they were Fulmer loyalists and were leeches he did the right thing. When taking over any established entity you cut the deadweight quickly. It's
a multi million dollar business not optimist club football.

Nice gestures are not something hard assed football coaches are known for doing. This program was rotting from the inside out and to be taken seriously
you've got to come down with an iron fist. If Foolmore and Co. taught their GA's anything of ANY value whatsoever, they should have no trouble securing
future employment. After all, the man is a D1A coaching legend....right???????
I could give 2 shits how Kiffin handled their being "let go". We're not in the game of making friends and passing around the snap cup. Life is hard, you therefore, must be harder.
