A New Orleans blog about who looks good at the Combine (remember they now have to replace Deuce).

I tried to link it but failed. He's been rising since the Senior Bowl.

He ranks another defensive end higher, though. He said Tennessee's Robert Ayers is the "fastest riser in the draft." "He's opened my eyes. Nobody could block him at the Senior Bowl, so I went back and watched more of his game film. His game tape against
Alabama was one of the best I've seen," said Mayock who said Ayers came from out of nowhere and now ranks 12th overall in his rankings.

Morons.
Which player has the most to gain at the combine?http://www.chicagotribune...ombifeb20,0,120973.column "That may or may not mean somthing. One might have better receivers, a different system, different coaching. The number of touchdowns might not mean anything. Then again it might. Just hard to say without knowing more than just the numbers." Bawl Tweb 2/19/09 |

Yeah. Our crack coaching staff thought X Mitchell and Reynolds..... | #4
|
were so good that they kept playing them more than Ayers even though Mitchell and Reynolds couldn't rush the passer or disrupt an opposing offense if their
lives depended on it. Yet another case of stupidity by our coaching staff IMO.
"There are always a couple of folks in the media willing to trade their credibility for an exclusive interview or a pat on the back from the '5-6
wasn't really that bad' crowd". - John Pennington in his 9/3/2007 KNS article after Tennessee's loss to California

What a boatload of dumbasses the Fulmer staff was. To have a player like Ayers and not even know | #6
|
he was a great player. He should have been the starter from his soph year on, but the Fulmer-Chavis brainless trust could not see he was the best pass rusher
on the team and so he sat on the bench, while we lost. Assholes

Depth chart is auto-sorted every spring by seniority at every position on the team. Furthermore, I'm not totally certain that Robert Ayers "bled
orange" like Wes Brown which could have been a contributing factor. I'm sure CLK knows the "bleeding orange factor" automatically offsets
any type of athletic ability that a better player might have on our roster. Fulmer 101.
