Posts: 1341 11/29/08 15:12:23 Not Missing Fulmer Like Heck	Tags : None ...I don't care what other folks do today; it's everyone's prerogative to root for, or how, ever one wishes. But for me, now that the deed is done, all the whining in the world from Fulmer won't make me hope for a UK win today. I want UT to win because 1) I'm a UT fan first and foremost, regardless of my feelings earlier this season that it was for the best that UT lost -- and history has pointed out that it was indeed the correct thing to happen if you pull for UT; and 2) a UK win doesn't do anything good for the program, and to me my love for UT is bigger than my dislike for Fulmer. The Wyoming loss was the final screw you to Fulmer IMO. He is leaving with at least 7 losses, and at most 5 wins; that speaks volumes to me. Another loss doesn't do anyone any good related to UT. Good riddance Coach, but win this last one and try to out with your head high, which means out of your ass. Just my opinion. By the way, Randy Sanders still sucks, and folks who think he would like to "stick it to Fulmer" forget that if not for Fulmer, Sanders would be working at Sears selling Lady Kenmores like Larry from Bull Durham.

I just don't see how hatred for Fulmer, who is gone no matter what happens today, can trump love for UT. Nothing good comes out of a loss today. Fulmer has his tail tucked regardless. Wyoming, Wyoming, Wyoming. Again, JMO, and I respect everyone else's opinions here. It's why I like this board.

I'd like to see some inspired tackles, a few well executed draw plays, you know, that kind of thing. A couple of long passes that depend on both the accuracy of the QB and the receivers giving his all, as well. The bottom line....can go to Kentucky. I don't want our players to loose what spark they have. I want them to have something to take into 2009 beyond stbFHCPF's manning up to his enforced removal from the program.

Those who think he should have another chance will feel that way regardless of what happens today. Those who know Hambone did the right thing by getting rid of him -- Kiffin notwithstanding -- won't feel any differently regardless of what happens today. One thing we can all bank on -- by about 9:00 central time, I doubt anybody who is a UT fan will EVER root against them again! Unless, of course, we need to purge another coach...
